By using VelaCut, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the app.

We collect minimal data to deliver a smooth filter experience:

• Account Information — Email, username, and securely hashed password. Optional Google/Apple sign-in.
• Video Content — Footage you import for filtering. All processing is local; nothing is auto-uploaded.
• Usage & Device Data — Filters used, feature interactions, crash logs, device model, and OS version (anonymized).
• Payment Information — Handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant partners for premium filter packs.
• Cloud Sync — Optional encrypted backup of your filter presets and projects.

Your Footage Remains Yours

We do not access, view, or use your videos for any purpose beyond the filtering functions you activate. No content is used for AI training or advertising.

We never sell your personal data or use your video content for advertising.

We share data only in these strictly limited scenarios:

• With your consent — When you export and share filtered videos to social platforms.
• Service providers — Trusted analytics, hosting, and payment partners under binding agreements.
• Legal requirements — If mandated by valid court order or applicable law.
• Business transitions — During mergers or acquisitions, with prior notice.

Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be shared publicly but can never identify you.

Local Processing

All video filtering and effect rendering happens on your device. Raw footage never leaves your local storage.

Cloud Backup (Optional)

AES-256 encrypted storage for filter presets and project files. Delete cloud data anytime — removal completes within 30 days.

Security Protocols

• TLS 1.2+ encryption for all network communications.
• bcrypt password hashing with unique salts.
• Strict access controls and routine security audits.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise:

• Access — Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction — Update inaccurate account details.

• Portability — Receive your data in a structured format.
